Calgary

Trevor has over sixteen years of public engagement experience and is the Senior Technical Advisor for Engagement with Maskwa Environmental Consulting Ltd. In Calgary.

His expertise is in large-scale, complex, and contentious projects where his processes have created relationships, strengthened trust with proponents, and been able to integrate feedback from thousands of individuals so that decisions makers were able to understand the impacts of their projects on community members. Trevor’s processes aim to reflect community values, create easy to understand material, build and strengthen relationships amongst community members, and strive for transparent and respective dialogue. This engagement experience on large infrastructure development has led to the approval of over six billion dollars in projects within Alberta and Manitoba.

Trevor’s career has focused on electrical transmission with recent projects branching from the normal. Although he has participated in the over 2,200 km of electrical transmission line development across the country, he has been assisting clients with complex facilities across Alberta such as renewable natural gas plants, solar facilities, ethanol generation, battery storage facilities, and even a nuclear radiopharmaceutical centre in Calgary.

Trevor has been active with IAP2 Canada where he has sat as President for both the Prairies Chapter and the Wild Rose Chapter for over five terms.
