The Director, Community Engagement, is responsible for the overall strategic development and long-term planning of the Community Engagement portfolio within the department of Communications and Community Engagement (CCE). Working with MNBC Ministries, the Director plays a lead role in community engagement, from the creation of comprehensive engagement plans to being a conduit between our Métis Chartered Communities. The role advises MNBC Ministries/Departments on effective Community Engagement based on best practice and acts as the liaison between MNBC and Community leadership. The Director may be required to represent MNBC in collaborations with Métis Chartered Communities, government, educational institutions, hospitals/health authorities, Indigenous organizations, and other stakeholders that have a direct impact on the work.
