The Art of Being HEARD: Designing Equitable Engagements

Public engagements are increasingly complex - a balance must be struck between completing necessary work and hearing from a diversity of voices. In this workshop you will learn about how to use equity to analyze and identify practical solutions to including the people who might face systemic barriers to inclusion. Based on Dihya Insight's HEARD Theory, you will explore the power you wield as a practitioner to embed equity in the engagement process and how you can use that power to uplift the voices of your target audience.
