Cristin Talentino is a settler Canadian, engagement strategist, facilitator, and founder of Birch + Bloom, a practice rooted in relationship, community-building, and transformation. Born and raised in Northern Ontario on the lands of the Anishinabek, she currently resides in North Bay, Ontario.
Cristin brings over two decades of experience in communications, strategic planning, fundraising, and facilitation across the public, nonprofit, and education sectors. Her work focuses on creating participatory, values-driven processes that centre equity, trust, and belonging especially during times of transition or transformation. She is particularly passionate about helping mission-driven leaders and communities reimagine how decisions are made and how people are meaningfully engaged in them.
Cristin holds a diploma in Peace and Conflict Studies, a BA in Communications, and a Certificate in Dialogue and Civic Engagement from Simon Fraser University. She is currently training as a certified Feminine Embodiment Coach.
She currently serves as a board member for The Seven—Northeastern Ontario Tourism and is a proud member of the IAP2 Canada Board of Directors. Outside of work, you’ll find her hiking or camping outdoors with her two dogs Rocco and Nala, tending her garden, or dreaming of new and inspiring ways to connect people with themselves, each other, and the land.
