Baily Lapp  



Alberta

Baily Lapp is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP, MCIP) based in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and currently serves as the Manager of Planning & Development Services at Beairsto & Associates Engineering Ltd. With over a decade of experience in both the public and private sectors, she brings a practical and community-focused approach to land use planning and policy development.

Baily is passionate about creating strong, inclusive communities and has worked with municipalities across Alberta on projects ranging from Municipal Development Plans and Land Use Bylaws to complex annexations and large-scale development strategies. She is trained in IAP2 Foundations in Public Participation and Techniques for Effective Participation and integrates meaningful engagement into all stages of her work.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Regional & Urban Planning from the University of Saskatchewan and serves as a board member with the Community Planning Association of Alberta and on the Assessment Appeal Board for the City of Grande Prairie. She is also a dedicated mentor with the Canadian Institute of Planners.

In addition to her professional commitments, Baily volunteers with Special Olympics Alberta. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, visiting her family’s farm in Saskatchewan, and relaxing at the lake.
