Iwokiri is a seasoned business communicator and engagement specialist with over 16 years of experience in connecting with people and enhancing their capacity to drive and own diverse initiatives. He has excelled in various public engagement and communication roles within Canada and across several continents navigating both the private and public sectors with ease.
Iwo’s unique strength lies in his ability to translate strategic business objectives into clear, simple, language that can influence a wide spectrum of community members to make the right decisions. He is experienced in working in dynamic and multicultural settings, which he thrives in and has produced solid results over the years.
Iwo has been involved in various projects related to sustainable community development, social and health impact assessments, municipal engagements, tourism, events management, and environmental management.
An avid learner and proponent of continuous improvement, Iwo treasures every new interaction and engagement as an opportunity to learn. He is a current member of the IAP2 Wild Rose Chapter and is eager to contribute his knowledge, experience, insight and skills to advance the concepts, and principles of public participation (P2) across geographic boundaries. He is based in Edmonton and hopes to inspire more participation in the organization by using his valuable relationships, networks, and resources for the chapter’s growth.
