P2 Objectives: Why they are essential in professional certification and how to prove you have the required capabilities.

Drafting good public participation objectives is a common challenge for IAP2 Certification candidates. P2 objectives are critical for success not just in certification but more importantly, in conducting effective engagement work. Poorly framed objectives can undermine good intentions, harm credibility, and result in dissatisfaction for all parties. This webinar will help participants understand why P2 objectives are essential to effective public participation and how to craft them in support of your efforts to obtain our profession’s highest credential. This webinar will be co-sponsored by IAP2 USA and IAP2 Canada.

About the presenters:

Wendy Green Lowe has chaired the IAP2 USA Professional Certification Task Force since its inception in 2013 and has served as an assessor for both the US and Canadian programs. She was a licensed trainer for IAP2 from 2000 to 2023.
