Using a platform (or a site) to engage with your community is a different experience than using social media, live meetings or a simple online survey. In this 4-hour course, you will learn about:

  • Best practices and issues of using a platform
  • Planning for an online engagement process
  • Tools available to engage online
  • How to engage and close the loop

The trainer will share her experiences from over the past fifteen years and provide a number of examples. Participants will get a copy of the presentation and a workbook to help plan online engagement projects.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are a member of IAP2 Canada please log into the website (top right-hand corner) to register automatically at the member rate.

International IAP2 members require a code to register. Please contact info@iap2canada.ca to obtain it.

This virtual course is offered in two, two hour sessions.

Trainer: Stéphanie Beauregard

Stéphanie joined the company in 2019 because Bang the Table attracted her as much for its expertise in public participation as for the dynamism of its team. Among other things, Stéphanie has worked for nearly 10 years for the Federal Public Service in External Relations and Partnerships and has been self-employed for a few years. She has experience and expertise in public participation, engagement, communication and training including the foundation training from IAP2.
