The Executive Director, Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue, provides executive leadership and vision to the development and execution of initiatives, strategies, programs, policies and services that advance the Centre’s mission to foster shared understanding and positive action through convening dialogue and engagement. The role is responsible for overseeing and providing leadership for all functional areas within the portfolio, including: leading Centre executive functions, including organizational culture, strategic planning, fiduciary responsibilities, administrative duties, and space oversight. The role builds strong relations with both academic and community stakeholders to bridge and cultivate university/community partnerships; and uses dialogue and engagement to deliver community engaged learning, co-create solutions, exchange knowledge and build capacity in the fields of dialogue and participatory democracy. The Executive Director collaborates with academic partners on the Centre’s dialogue and experiential education programs; and ensures fiduciary due diligence and mission/values alignment for a portfolio of community-managed initiatives administratively housed at the Centre.
