Across the world, hundreds of decisions are made each day that affect children. Yet, rarely are the voices of young people considered. In this reprise of one of the more popular sessions from the 2020 IAP2 North American Virtual Conference, you'll learn about "Growing Up Boulder", a unique partnership in Boulder, Colorado. Some 7,000 young people were engaged in important policy and planning decisions and you'll explore why youth participation matters.

You'll learn about the value of engaging young people and find out about effective techniques for allowing even the youngest of voices to participate in a meaningful way.

Read the session description here.

NAC Encores are reprises of sessions from the 2020 IAP2 North American Virtual Conference, which those who attended told us should be shared more broadly in a webinar.
