Help shape the Government of Canada’s next action plan on Open Government

The Treasury Board of Canada has been holding events across Canada to gather input to help shape the next National Action Plan on Open Government for 2018-20. You are invited to participate in this open dialogue to weigh in on the Government of Canada’s efforts towards increased transparency, public engagement, and improved access.  This event may be of interest to public participation and communications professionals, public servants, academics, civil society organizations, citizens, and anyone else interested in public administration.

What does the idea of open government and open dialogue mean to you? What issues would most benefit from increased dialogue and collaboration between government and citizens? How can greater public participation and transparency lead to more effective public decisions and outcomes?

The Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat will provide an overview of federal Open Government initiatives and facilitate a conversation on these questions and more.  

This event is FREE for IAP2 members and non-members, but space is limited so you must register. Coffee, tea and water will be provided.
