IAP2 Foundations in Effective Public Participation will let you hit the ground running armed with the knowledge and confidence you need to plan and execute effective initiatives for any area in which you may be working. This course is divided into two modules, each focusing on one of the two major phases of public participation, planning and techniques. Upon completion of both modules, you will receive a certificate of completion from IAP2.

Trainer: Tannis Topolnisky

Tannis Topolnisky has 15 years experience as a Public Participation practitioner, 11 years experience training other P2 practitioners and 6 years experience as a licensed IAP2 trainer. Tannis has been an IAP2 mentor for new practitioners for the last 3 years and is currently an assessor for new IAP2 Foundations candidate trainers.
Tannis's expertise is in the strategic and detailed planning, design, implementation, evaluation, analysis and reporting of public participation initiatives. Tannis has worked in a wide diversity of projects where impacts on health, livelihood, relationships, well-being and community are most common.
