The use of online platforms presents a tremendous opportunity for public participation professionals to engage their stakeholders. Creating inclusive and compelling digital engagement channels requires a multi-disciplinary approach to minimize barriers to participation and maximize the unique potential of the web.

As a part of this session, we'll will walk through a case study of online citizen engagement for the City of Saskatoon Website Redesign project. This year-long engagement project was the first of its kind in Canada and demonstrates how applying digital marketing and user experience design strategies to your engagement program design can unlock the true potential of community participation.

This event will be in-person in Regina, and live via web conference in Saskatoon.
