We are incredibly excited to provide IAP2 Canada hosted virtual training courses! This is an exciting opportunity for you to update your professional skills — in collaboration with colleagues and without leaving your home, office or city!

These courses are designed to support ongoing learning, and are more than a set of worksheets or templates. They include videos, exercises, case studies, interaction with fellow participants and your trainer, and more.

The best virtual learning goes beyond the content. Our trainers provide practical skills and knowledge in a way that connects to your goals, hopes, and values AND demonstrates how these connect to your work and world.

    What to expect

All online training will be held online using the application Zoom. If your employer does not allow you to download the app on your computer, you may join within your browser application. We recommend using Chrome.

IAP2 Canada is currently using GSuite and its Google Drive to share course materials. Please obtain alternate access if your employer does not allow you to access Google.

Online training is very different from face-to-face. Online courses will be offered in two or three hour segments with multiple sessions. For example, a traditional one-day in-person courses will now be broken up into two 3-hour sessions or three 2-hour sessions, and in some cases over several weeks.

How will I join my virtual course(s)? All virtual training will be held in online "zoom rooms". All courses will be live, and interactive including small group work.

Do I need to be at the live sessions? We expect all participants to attend all sessions just as you would at a face-to-face course.

When will my live sessions take place? Courses will run over multiple sessions, and can vary in length from 2 - 3.5 hours per session.
