Below you will find several step-by-step guides to help you join us successfully online. Watch for our pro-tips to make it a great experience!
When preparing for a live session, make sure that you will be in a noise-free or reduced noise area with a solid internet connection.
We recommend joining on a desktop. The desktop Zoom App is a bit more intuitive, plus the screen size will be bigger so you will be able to view course materials a lot more readily.
Before joining a Zoom meeting on a computer or mobile device, you can download the Zoom app from our Download Center. Otherwise, you will be prompted to download and install Zoom when you click a join link.
You can also join a test meeting to familiarize yourself with Zoom.
At the time of your session, click the zoom join link provided to you in your attendee email, this will open an in browser dialogue box asking to "Open Zoom Meetings" (Fig. 1).
When the meeting starts, two audio options in a box will appear - Phone Call and Computer Audio.
To dial in, select your country from the drop down menu, then dial one of the numbers provided. Follow the audio prompts to successfully join the meeting. (Fig. 2)
If you are joining with computer audio, select "Computer Audio" then select "Join with Computer Audio" (Fig. 2).
