Whether it’s race relations, equity, school closures or a myriad other issues, emotion plays a big role in so many P2 projects. Getting feedback from the audience and stakeholders – and getting it right – is vital. What means are there – technological and non-technological – for collecting, analyzing and effectively utilizing that feedback? Join us Tuesday, March 10 at 2pm Eastern time, as Michael Lickers, Senior Advisor of Aboriginal Community Development at Suncor Energy, and Dr David Campt, whose forte is in facilitating discussions where race relations play a key role, will talk about the value of keypad polling to collect audience response on emotional settings.

Michael teaches the courses “Canadian Aboriginal Issues” and “Indigenous Ways of Knowing” in the University of
Calgary’s International Indigenous Studies program. He is author of “Urban Aboriginal Leadership: The Delicate Dance Between Two Worlds,” and has published articles on youth leadership, international youth programs, and community development.

David Campt, "The Dialogue Guy", specializes in getting people to look beyond their cultural differences and work towards a common goal, without letting meetings degenerate into shouting sessions. Among many accomplishments, David organized townhall meetings for President Bill Clinton's Race Initiative.
