PRESENTERS: Jay Rodgers, Kim Thomas, and Martin Itzkow from the General Child and Family Services Authority (GA) and Roselyn Advincula, a Cultural Community Volunteer.


This interactive session will provide engagement leadership lessons from the New Canadians Education and Awareness Initiative (NCEAI), where shifting from traditional consultation approaches to a strengths-based appreciative leadership strategy has been successful in establishing trust, shared ownership, vision, and mutual commitment between child welfare, community leaders/members, service providers and government.
